Sports Achievements

Ever since I joined HHS, I always participated in all sports activities. My first ever participation was my intercampus cricket tournament, and although my team didn't win, it marked the start of my sporty journey!

I had some great experiences participating in track events during my school days. In 8th grade, I came in 2nd in the 100m dash and 1st in the 200m dash at Sports Day. I was happy to continue doing well, taking 3rd place in the 100m dash and 1st place in the 200m dash in 9th grade.

I was selected in my basketball team, and was given the opportunity to face very skilled opponents! I was also selected in the throwball girls team, and we won the gold medal in the intercampus throwball competition! I am also currently participating in two other interschool throwball events!

Educational Achievements

In 7th grade, I achieved 2nd place in my class with a score of 87.89%. In 8th grade, i ranked 1st in my class with a score of 83.00%. Then, in 9th grade, i earned a distinction in 3 subjects; English Literature, English Language, and Pakistan Studies!

Co-curricular Activities

Since 7th grade, I've participated in a number of extracurricular activities. I have always been a huge fan of public speaking, and i took up my first declamation event at Dawood Public School, where i won 3rd position. I also took part in the elocution competitions our school held, and won 2nd place for the poem "Oh Captain, My Captain".

MUNs

The first MUN i participated in was the CBMUN, which proved to be an amazing learning experience. Later on, i went to the DENMUN, which gave me a lot of insight on global affairs. I also participated in the HHS MUN, where i won the Best Delegate award as the country of Turkmenistan.

Battle of the Books

the Battle of the Books was a reading an Intercampus reading competition held in our school, where we answered questions based on 3 books! My team won 1st position after a tough competition!

Volunteer Work

I volunteered for the Burns Centre Iftar Program, which was initiated to earn funds for burn victims.

Other Events

I took part in the Pakistan Spelling Bee held at Beaconhouse, as well as competitions like IKLC, where I won the bronze medal, and IKMC. Last year, my team and I went to IBA City council, and we gave a presentation on Climate Change! I even got the opportunity to represent my school in front of students from Malaysia!

I went to two meetings arranged by Goethe institute regarding Agriculture and Global Warming, where we answered questions after watching inspirational videos! I got the chance to partake in the International Cambridge Science Competition too.

Genomics Youth Camp

I am forever thankful that I was selected in the Genomics Youth Camp. It was a 3-day camp held at Magnifiscience Centre, Karachi, where my team and I made presentations and engaged in interactive workshops!

KlimaX Camp

KlimaX was a 4-day camp held at Thandiani, KPK, where i traveled along with the Goethe team. We interacted with people across the country, and took part in several workshops. The fun part? It was all in German! My team and I won the 2nd position for our presentation!

Bake Sale

I put up a stall in the bake sale held at my school. We worked with SOP to sell our items with specially abled children and teenagers! It was an amazing experience and I really enjoyed interacting with my teammate from SOP!

Debate Competition

In 10th grade, i went for a debate competition held at Fajr Academy, and we won the runner up position! To my and everyone else's shock, i was the one who got the best debater award out of all the schools there!
